Grilled Salmon Recipes
Salmon is a wonderful fish that is not only healthy but delicious. Normally, frozen salmon comes skinless and boneless and they are usually packaged in smaller portions so that you can manage and cook them easily. As long as it never thaws out, you can keep them in your freezer for as long as 6 months.
However, you need to thaw your salmon the right way before cooking it. You need to place it in a shallow dish in the refrigerator and let it defroze slowly for about 10 hours. Never use warm water or leave the fish at room temperature just to speed up the process as the quality of your salmon will degrade. If you're in a hurry, you still to wait for 3 hours for the frozen salmon to thaw at room temperature. You can also try wrapping the salmon in plastic wrap and place it under cold running water for several minutes.
